Project Overview:
1. The project aims to establish two community-based Mohalla Health & Wellness Centres in major slum clusters of the city.
2. It focuses on providing accessible, affordable, and quality primary healthcare to slum residents.
3. Services include free consultations, essential medicines, diagnostics, and maternal & child health (MCH) programs.
4. Regular health awareness and preventive education sessions will improve hygiene and health-seeking behavior.
5. The model integrates a social enterprise component through affordable pharmacy and diagnostic services for sustainability.
6. 20 local community health volunteers (Arogya Sahayaks) will be trained to support operations and outreach.
7. The project will directly benefit over 5,000 residents annually, especially women, children, and the elderly.
8. A digital health record and telemedicine system will expand service reach and efficiency.
9. Slum Health Committees (SHCs) will be formed for local participation and long-term ownership.
10. The project duration is one year, with ONGC CSR support in the initial phase.
11. After ONGC’s exit, the centres will continue operations through self-generated revenue and community management.
12. The project aligns with ONGC’s CSR focus areas — Healthcare and Slum Area Development.
13. It contributes to SDGs 3, 5, 10, and 17, promoting good health, gender equality, and partnerships.
14. ONGC will gain high branding visibility through signage, awareness events, and community recognition.
The initiative will serve as a replicable, sustainable model for urban healthcare delivery in other ONGC CSR regions.
Project Contents
Comprehensive proposal including objectives, activities, timelines, budget, sustainability plan, Gantt Chart, Organogram of team structure, a logical framework (Logframe), detailed budget, a sustainability plan, an exit strategy, and anticipated benefits to ONGC, impact assessment details and a separate folder containing images..
