The project “Udaan: Empowering Slum Children through Education” is specially written for BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.) under their CSR activities.

Project Overview:
The project titled “Udaan: Empowering Slum Children through Education” is initiated by BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for children in slum areas.

Project Highlights:
– Thrust Area: Responsible India (BHEL CSR) | Primary SDG: SDG 4 – Quality Education.
– Community Learning Centers: Establish 6–8 CLCs to support over 500 children with inclusive learning. These centers will provide a flexible and inclusive educational environment.
– Focus Areas: Literacy, numeracy, digital skills, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education, life skills, health, hygiene, and extra curricular.
– Special Emphasis: Education for girls, SC/ST, OBC, and minority groups.
– Capacity Building: Train teachers/volunteers, conduct vocational workshops, and organize exposure visits.
– Community Engagement: Foster participation through parent-teacher meetings and Community Education Committees. The project intends to enhance capacity building through comprehensive teacher and volunteer training programs, alongside vocational workshops and exposure visits that will improve local educational quality.
– Monitoring & Evaluation: Implement a framework with assessments at baseline, midline, and endline assessments to effectively track the progress and impact of the initiative on children’s education.
– Sustainability Strategy: Align with government schemes, promote community ownership, and develop a replicable CSR education model.

Project Contents
The project proposal consists of a comprehensive set of documents, including a cover letter, background assessments, detailed objectives, activity descriptions with timelines, a methodological framework, analysis of the target group, organizational structure, monitoring mechanisms, expected outcomes with measurable indicators, a logical framework (Logframe), a Gantt chart for the execution plan, impact assessment details, detailed budget, a sustainability plan, an exit strategy, and anticipated benefits to BHEL, complemented by an executive summary and a separate folder containing images..

Budget Modification: An Excel template is provided for easy budget adjustments which will automatically update your budget.

Preparation: Delivered in the specified format by BHEL.
The project is complete in all respects. You can edit your NGO details in word file and submit it directly.
Time required to make proposal is 30 minutes only.
