DETAILED PROJECT REPORT (DPR)

Watershed management is the process of guiding and organizing the use of land and other resources in a watershed to provide desired goods and services without adversely affecting soil and water resources. Each project under the programme is a micro-level effort to achieve this objective by treating the under productive or unproductive land and taking up allied activities for the benefit of the landless. The programmes adopt a common strategy of multi resource management involving all stakeholders within the watershed who, together as a group, co-operatively identify the resource issues and concerns of the watershed as well as develop and implement a watershed plan with solutions that are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.

Watershed development involves the following components / sectors:
i) Human resource development (community development);
ii) Soil and land management (conservation and use);
iii) Water management (conservation and use);
iv) Afforestation;
v) Pasture(Fodder) development;
vi) Agricultural development;
vii) Livestock management; and
viii) Rural energy management

This project can be submitted by NGO’s, State Rural Livelihood Missions/ Community Based Organizations (CBOs), KVK.

Implementation Partners –
GOI, NABARD

Delivery of Files – Depending on your requirement, we need 30 to 45 working days to prepare this DPR.

Approximate Price – May range from Rs.40,000/- onward depending on work. Hence, only organizations with good network and good financial condition should ask us to quote. Small NGOs, Individuals will not be replied.
