The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in New Delhi is offering a grant-in-aid to NGOs for organizing a three-day National Conference focused on Human Rights in the Digital Age.

Project Theme
The main theme of the project is “Addressing Cybercrime, Online Exploitation and Data Privacy Challenges.” The conference will address various sub-themes suggested by the NHRC, aimed at understanding the impact of modern technology on human rights.

Highlights of the Project

1. Organization of a Three-Day National Conference on the theme “Human Rights in the Digital Age: Addressing Cybercrime, Online Exploitation and Data Privacy Challenges.”
2. The conference will bring together academicians, legal experts, policymakers, cyber security professionals, and human rights practitioners from across the country.
3. The program will examine emerging human rights challenges arising from rapid digitalization and technological advancement.
4. Special focus will be given to cybercrime, online harassment, cyber bullying, identity theft, and cyber-enabled exploitation.
