The “Project Vijeta: Empowering Youth through Sports for Holistic Development” is specially written under the thrust area “Sports” of HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.) under their CSR activities.
Project Overview –
Objective:
Project Vijeta empowers 500 youth aged 8-18 from marginalized communities through sports coaching, life skills development, and health education, promoting personal growth and community engagement.
Sports Covered:
Participants will engage in a variety of sports, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Football, Volleyball, Yogasana, Mallakhamb, Athletics, Badminton, and Table Tennis.
Focus Areas:
The initiative focuses on physical fitness, mental well-being, teamwork, gender equality, leadership skills, and digital literacy, aiming to create well-rounded individuals who can positively impact society.
Key Activities:
The project encompasses coaching sessions, tournaments like the “Vijeta Cup,” health workshops, a digital literacy module, and “Green Sports” initiatives, all aimed at actively engaging participants and promoting their overall development.
Target Beneficiaries:
The initiative aims to engage 500 youth, with 45% being girls and 35% from SC/ST/OBC/minority backgrounds, benefiting around 2,000 indirect beneficiaries like parents and teachers.
Implementation Partner:
HPCL’s CSR Division will collaborate with an NGO specializing in sports-for-development initiatives to monitor and ensure the project’s effectiveness and sustainability.
Expected Outcomes:
The project aims for a 25% improvement in fitness levels, 80% improvement in behavioral skills, and the training of 10-15 youth coaches to promote sports and development in their communities.
SDG Alignment:
Project Vijeta aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to health, education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, and sustainability.
Project Contents
Comprehensive proposal including objectives, activities, timelines, budget, sustainability plan, Gantt Chart, Organogram of team structure, a logical framework (Logframe), detailed budget, a sustainability plan, an exit strategy, and anticipated benefits to HPCL, impact assessment details and a separate folder containing images..
Budget Modification: An Excel template is provided for easy budget adjustments which will automatically update your budget.
Presentation – General CSR Format, as there is no general CSR application form.
The project is complete in all respects. You can edit your NGO details in word file and submit it .
Time required to make proposal is 30 minutes only. You can modify budget & duration.
Project budget – 41 lakh approx
