IOCL CSR Project – Women’s Health & Safety in Workplaces

The “Project Sakhi: Safe, Healthy, and Empowered Workplaces for Women” is specially written for IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.) under their CSR activities.

Project Highlights
1. Objective: To promote safe, healthy, and gender-sensitive workplaces for women through health awareness, safety training, and infrastructural improvements.
2. Implementing Area: Industrial and institutional workplaces employing women workers across India.
3. Key Components: Menstrual hygiene management, maternity wellness, occupational health & safety training, infrastructure upgradation (toilets/lactation rooms), and gender-sensitization workshops.
4. Beneficiaries: About 1,000–1,200 women workers (including SC/ST/OBC/minority groups) and 500+ indirect beneficiaries (supervisors, families, co-workers).
5. Implementation Approach: Multi-stakeholder, participatory model involving IOCL CSR Division, implementing NGO, workplace management, and local health institutions.
6. Expected Outcomes: Improved women’s health, reduced absenteeism, enhanced workplace safety, and adoption of gender-inclusive policies.
7. Sustainability Plan: Formation of Women’s Health & Safety Committees, training of peer educators (“Sakhi Champions”), and workplace ownership for long-term continuity.
8. SDG Alignment: Contributes to SDG 3 (Health), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

Project Contents
Comprehensive proposal including objectives, activities, timelines, budget, sustainability plan, Gantt Chart, Organogram of team structure, a logical framework (Logframe), detailed budget, a sustainability plan, an exit strategy, and anticipated benefits to IOCL, impact assessment details and a separate folder containing images..

Budget Modification: An Excel template is provided for easy budget adjustments which will automatically update your budget.
