The “Project Pashu Sahayata: Mobile Veterinary and Livestock Resource Initiative” is specially written for IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.) under their CSR activities.

Project Highlights – 

1. Mobile Veterinary Service Model
The initiative offers a mobile veterinary service designed to deliver animal healthcare directly to rural farmers’ doorsteps. This includes services such as vaccinations, healthcare, and advisory support, which are essential for ensuring the well-being of livestock.

2. Target Area and Beneficiaries
The project aims to serve 10–15 villages, reaching approximately 500–700 livestock-owning households, thereby benefiting around 3,000 individuals over the span of 12 months.

3. Goals for Animal Health and Farmer Income
The primary objectives are to enhance animal health and productivity while simultaneously boosting the income of farmers. This is achieved through a focus on preventive care measures and the promotion of breed improvement strategies.

4. Sustainable Livestock Nutrition
The project includes the establishment of fodder demonstration plots, which serve as educational sites for farmers. Additionally, it advocates for silage-making practices to ensure sustainable nutrition for livestock.

5. Capacity Building
Approximately 200–300 farmers and 15–20 local para-veterinarians will receive training. This effort emphasizes capacity building and aims to ensure a continuous supply of veterinary services within the local community.

6. Women’s Participation
The initiative actively promotes women’s involvement, targeting a 40% participation rate through the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) focused on livestock and fodder management.

7. Digital Livestock Health Database
A digital database will be developed to monitor livestock health in real-time, allowing for data-driven decision-making that enhances the overall management and welfare of the animals.

8. Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The project aligns with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, notably SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), thus contributing to broader global objectives.

9. Sustainability Plan
A robust plan for sustainability is integrated into the project, which includes fostering community ownership, implementing a user-fee model, and establishing service mechanisms led by SHGs to maintain veterinary services after the project’s completion.

10. Corporate Social Responsibility
The initiative enhances Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) brand image by showcasing its commitment to social responsibility, particularly in the realms of animal welfare and rural livelihood development. This not only reinforces the company’s reputation but also underscores its role in community upliftment.

Comprehensive proposal including objectives, activities, timelines, budget, sustainability plan, Gantt Chart, Organogram of team structure, a logical framework (Logframe), detailed budget, a sustainability plan, an exit strategy, and anticipated benefits to IOCL, impact assessment details and a separate folder containing images..
