Each garden will feature 15–25 commonly used medicinal plants, carefully selected for educational and therapeutic value—ideal for hands-on learning.
✅ Outdoor Classroom for Experiential Learning
Transforms gardens into living science labs, where students learn by planting, observing, and nurturing medicinal herbs—boosting engagement in biology, ecology, and traditional medicine.
✅ AYUSH Awareness & Traditional Health Education
Promotes awareness of AYUSH systems (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) and India’s rich heritage of natural healing.
✅ Student Engagement & Skill Development
Encourages students to actively participate in gardening, enhancing their environmental consciousness, responsibility, and scientific curiosity.
✅ Teacher-Led Educational Program
Trained teachers will guide students on the medicinal uses, benefits, and cultural significance of herbal plants through structured lessons and activities.
✅ Community Involvement
Parents and teachers will support garden maintenance, especially during school holidays—fostering strong school-community partnerships.
✅ Long-Term Sustainability (5-Year Project)
Year 1: Setup and planting in all 40 schools
