National Level Seminar on Strengthening Official Statistics for Evidence-Based Policy Making in India

This is a readymade project report for organizing a national seminar on “Strengthening Official Statistics for Evidence-Based Policy Making in India” sponsored by Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI). The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has been promoting Research Studies and Seminars in official statistics by way of providing financial assistance and data support.

Project Highlights –

Objective: A 4-day national seminar designed to enhance the use of credible official statistics for informed decision-making in governance and public policy.

Key Themes:
i. Addressing data quality, innovation, and methodological challenges in statistical systems.
ii. Leveraging administrative data and emerging technologies for policy relevance.
iii. Sectoral applications in healthcare, education, employment, and social welfare.
